What is the Vancouver Island Homesteading Fair?
The Vancouver Island Homesteading Fair (VIHF) is an event that includes multiple presentations and workshops regarding homesteading skills as well as a market that highlights local vendors and items that complement the intention of the fair.
The intention of the VIHF is to:
- Share local homesteading skills and knowledge
- Support secure, sustainable & self-reliant living systems
- Connect small scale farmers with each other and the community
Our first fair was is 2016, and we are excited to continue to offer this community event again this year. The VIHF will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 5th and 6th at Cobble Hill Hall.
All are welcomed, and we look forward to two days full of inspiring, educating and facilitating presentations and vendors!
Cost to attend?
This is a free event, hosted by a non-profit organization, and is a great opportunity to support community vibrancy based in conscious living!
Donations are always welcome, and help contribute to future fairs!
